Geographies of (Un)safe Spaces

This year's experimental section presents the latest works by artists and directors who address the subject of space as a sphere of influence for forces claiming the right to impose their forms of power. The selected films show the permeation of messages from public and private spaces and the media's role in this process. They pose questions about the space’s safety for the individual and entire communities and, ultimately, about space in the post-human era.
