No Master Territories

The section presents films that form part of the No Master Territories project, produced in collaboration with Berlin's Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW) and curated by Erika Balsom and Hila Peleg. The selection features films by female documentary filmmakers from different parts of the world from the 1970s and 1980s, a period marked by efforts – and sometimes struggles – to support women's rights. The programme accompanies the exhibition No Master Territories at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, curated by Erika Balsom and Hila Peleg.
