Journalist and culture creator. Her main field of interest is film. Graduate of the Faculty of Theatre Knowledge at the Theatre Academy in Warsaw. Since 2007 co-creator and artistic director of the Two Riversides Film and Art Festival in Kazimierz Dolny. For 31 years she worked for Channel 2 on Polish Television. Author of numerous reportages on art and television programmes on culture. From 1996 to 2016 author of the film magazine “Kocham Kino” (“I Love Cinema”), popularising auteur and artistic cinema and the young generation of Polish filmmakers. She reported from film festivals in Berlin, Cannes and Venice (1996-2016) and conducted interviews with the most outstanding creators of Polish and world cinema. She received an award from the Polish Film Institute for her programme “Kocham Kino”. Member of the Polish and European Film Academy. In March 2016, she left Polish Television. Since 2016 she is the author and host of the programme “Kocham Cię Kino” on Radio Zet. Co-author and host of prestigious galas, including the Nike Literary Award, Polityka’s Passports, Gdynia Film Festival Gala, Venice International Film Festival Gala and many others. Between 1997 and 1998 she was a moderator of press conferences at the Venice International Film Festival. From 1998 to 2004, she hosted evening events at the Teatro Greco in Taormina (Sicily) during the TaorminaFest International Film Festival.
She was a juror at the International Film Festivals in Berlin, Cannes and Bari. Winner of many awards, including eight Wiktor Awards (Polish Television Academy Awards), including a Super Wiktor Award as a television personality and a Golden Telekamera Award. For her activity in the field of culture, she was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta, the Silver Gloria Artis Medal of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the Stella Della Solidarieta Italiana medal awarded by the President of the Republic of Italy for her merits in promoting Italian culture. In 2009, she was named an Honorary Citizen of Kazimierz Dolny.
