Graduate of the Filmology Department of the VGIK in Moscow, as well as the Cinematography and Television Production Department of the Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź. She is the author of such films as „Patrz, Litwa” (1997) and „Schizophrenia” (2001) - Special Jury Prize at the XII International Historical Film Festival in Pessac, Gold Remy Award - Worldfest Independent Film Festival 2002 in Houston, Grand Prix White Cobra at the Man in Danger Media Festival in Łódź and many other awards.

She is also the author and editor of the films „The Fountain” (2009) and „Beyond the Wall” (2007) - Silver Shell for the best documentary film at the 10th International Documentary, Animation and Short Film Festival in Mumbai, Jacek Kuroń Award for the best short film at the 7th WATCH DOCS International Film Festival Human Rights in Film, New York Festival finalist award.

Lecturer at the international documentary film workshops: Russia - Poland. New Look (2006), Dragon Forum (2008-2011) and Word From Dawn Till Dust (Ukraine, China, Armenia, Turkey, Cuba 2011-2016). Long-time expert of the Polish Film Institute. Since 2008, she has been a lecturer of the DOK PRO documentary course at the Wajda School.
