SOPHIE HORRY

"Little Boy" director.

Was born in 1998 in Poissy, France, where she started showing interest towards art making very early on. First passionate by painting and drawing from a young age. Curious while growing up, she trained herself to many art skills such as graphism, acting or photography. After graduating high school, Sophie entered English studies while taking English acting classes at the Cours Florent, in Paris. After spending time on amateur movie sets as an actress, she quickly grew interest for the back of the camera and felt her knowledge and skills could better be exploited as a director. She then decided she would integrate a film school after getting firstly a more theoritical education. Sophie Horry validated her English litterature studies while starting a Cinema and Drama bachelor in university in Paris. She validated her Cinema and Drama studies in Dublin for her final year. Curious of living abroad and discovering new cultures, she kept travelling by integrating the Warsaw Film School in the capital of Poland.

Now aged 24, Sophie Horry multiplied her experience as a crew manager and storyteller. She directed more than ten short movies in 2022 and Petit Garçon is the result of this year of work, introspection and maturation where she decided to speak without filter of her and her family’s struggles with handling an unrecognized disease.
