Best Polish Film Award Competition juror.
She holds an MA in Social Anthropology and Dutch and Nordic Philology. For more than 30 years she has been organising and curating for international film festivals, with a focus on documentary and short formats. She has wide experience in programming, development and festival strategies and regularly moderates industry events. Since 2006 she is a member of the Selection Committee for the Panorama section at Berlinale. Since 2014 she moderates industry debates at the DOK.forum of the MunichDOK.fest. She has taught at film schools in Munich (HFF) and Berlin (UdK) and advises filmmakers on development and editing, on presenting themselves and their projects and works as a freelance film curator.
In the past she has worked for Berlinale Talents, DOK Leipzig, Sheffield International Documentary Festival, FID Marseille, Fribourg IFF, DocPoint Helsinki Documentary FF, International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, Tampere FF and the documentary world sales agent Deckert Distribution.
