Magdalena Cichocka, Master of Fine Arts - born 31 December 1981, graduate of the Institute of Design at the Koszalin University of Technology in the field of Visual Communication. In 2007, she obtained an honourable mention for her thesis entitled: “Interpretation of Anhedonia in the Context of Visual Communication. Brightening the Shadow of Everyday Life.” Scholarship holder of the Erasmus-Socrates Programme at the Universidad de Granada Facultad de Bellas Artes (2005-2006). For two years she worked as a public relations specialist/literary secretary at the Juliusz Słowacki Baltic Drama Theatre in Koszalin. Since July 2014, she has been a film promotion and education specialist at the L. Tyrmand Darłowo Cultural Centre. Since December 2014 she has been coordinating the KinoSzkoła Programme on behalf of the Bajka cinema. Four-time winner of the KinoSzkoła award Tytan Pracy presented to coordinators in the young audience education category (2014/2015, 2015/2016, 2017/2018, 2018/2019). Juror of the Cinema in Sneakers Festival (2020 edition) and the 39th The Youth and Film Festival (award of the Studio Cinemas Association). Since 2015 she has been the artistic director of the only Scandinavian Film Festival organised in Poland, one of the most important and recognisable events held for over 20 years at the Bajka Cinema in Darłowo.
