The VP and Executive Producer of Documentaries for HBO Max EMEA. Based in the Prague office, she is responsible for HBO Max’s documentary slate in EMEA. She commissions and co-produces documentary programming, focusing on feature-length productions and documentary series, which should have a strong connection with the countries where HBO Max broadcasts in Europe. The documentaries she co-produces give strong insights into their subject, creating debates, showing a different perspective, and are daring, creative and innovative. HBO documentaries are stories with a strong narrative and high production values.
She earned a Master of Arts degree from the Faculty of Film and TV Documentary Department at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. She continued her professional career working for almost three decades as a documentary director and producer in Slovenia. As an experienced and dedicated documentary filmmaker, she has lectured on documentary filmmaking and participated in the organization of master classes, industry seminars, and courses. She has also served as a moderator and participant on numerous industry panels and other documentary events in many countries. At HBO Max, she co-produced many successful documentaries in different European countries, awarded at many international festivals.
