ADAM NIELSEN

Is a five-time Danish Film (aka Robert) Award nominee, and twice won the Danish Film Award for Best Editing, for his work on Tobias Lindholm’s A Hijacking in 2013, and for R, written and directed by Lindholm and Michael Noer. in 2011.

Nielsen’s collaborations with director Tobias Lindholm also include the recent acclaimed HBO series The Investigation, and the Oscar®-nominated film A War. Nielsen has also collaborated with Danish filmmaker Elvira Lind on the Academy Award®-nominated short film The Letter Room, starring Oscar Isaac, and Bobbi Jene, for which Nielsen won the Best Editing Documentary Feature at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Among Nielsen’s other recent credits are the Before the Frost and Nøgle hus spejl for director Michael Noer, and the TV series Forhøret,

A graduate of the National Film School of Denmark, Nielsen has also devoted much of his career to editing documentaries, which have included Ai Weiwei The Fake Case, Love Child, Violently in Love, A Modern Man, The War Show, and Rent a Family, Inc.

He won a GuldDok for Best Editing for Ghosts of a Cite Soleil and was honored with the prestigious Roos Award for his documentary work.
