Sam Green will present his new immersive film – “32 Sounds” during the jubilee 20th edition of MDAG. Sam has a long history with MDAG, one of his films screened at the very first edition of the festival and his live documentary projects opened MDAG twice. Green is a New York-based director, screenwriter, editor, and documentary filmmaker. His 2004 feature film, “The Weather Underground”, premiered at Sundance and was nominated for an Oscar®. During the screening, after everyone is equipped with special headphones, the director will personally introduce the audience to this unique experience of sound and film. The project rediscovers and explores the phenomena of sound by reimagining and revealing the obvious and hidden meanings of 32 different sounds. It will no doubt be an event full of humour and emotions. The soundtrack features the music of JD Samson (Le Tigre, MEN).
