Volunteers from animal welfare organisations experience both positive and negative emotions daily. On the one hand, they witness the emerging bond between animals and adopters, on the other, they, unfortunately, observe cases of indifference and even animal abuse. Where does the hatred come from? What makes us want to give love to a creature? How does Polish law treat animals and what should change? And finally: what can we do to ensure that our relationships with animals (both domestic and wild) are based on understanding and affection? We will try to answer these questions during the meeting after the film “My Pet and Me”.
