Freedom of speech, one of the fundamental values of American society, does not actually apply to all people in the United States. There are no federal laws on the reservations, which are self governed. The local newspaper of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation tribe in Oklahoma fights censorship and lack of access to reliable information and fights for the truth. Will the paper be at the forefront of democracy and manage to oppose abuses of power? The creators will talk about the film after the screening.
