Power of women. Meeting with the creators of the „Nikt nas nie pytał, ale i tak się wypowiemy” podcast.
"Smoke Sauna Sisterhood" is a film about a group of women meeting in a traditional, ritual sauna. Their authentic beauty does not derive from having perfect bodies, but from drawing strength from their community and being together. Their conversations are filled with humour, wisdom and self-awareness.
After the screening, we invite you to a discussion with Agnieszka Szczepanek and Kasia Chrobak, creators of the feminist podcast „Nikt nas nie pytał, ale i tak się wypowiemy” ("No one asked, but we’ll still speak"). In the podcast, as in the film, the topics of discussion are related to women's experiences. The conversation will centre the female body and experience - what it can do and what does it give, what does it contain.
