OPENING OF THE FESTIVAL

Restore dignity. Meeting with director Heba Khaled and director Talal Derki.
In Damascus, friends Eliana, Inana, Farah, Grace and Souhir begin work on a theatre show that will expose the misogyny, sexism, sexual abuse and everyday life of women in Syria. The project, consisting of interviews with women from diverse backgrounds, turns out to be as controversial as it is dangerous.
Following the screening there will be a meeting with the film directors to discuss all the behind the scenes of the project.
