Vegan Community Kitchen – breakfast edition
The Vegan Community Kitchen is an event centred on the idea of sharing plant-based food – healthy not only for us but also for our planet. It is an opportunity to discover new flavours, seek culinary inspiration, exchange recipes and experiences and showcase your culinary talents. All dishes are set out on a communal table so that every participant can enjoy them (which is why it is important to bring your cutlery and plates).
If you want to try intriguing, yet still home-made dishes, talk about interesting and important topics and, above all, have a nice Sunday morning join us for the festival breakfast edition of Community Kitchen at Kino Światowid. Our table will be stocked with a variety of plant-based specialities, including scrambled tofu – a vegan version of scrambled eggs, plant-based cottage cheese and a range of delicious sandwich spreads.
Our breakfast kitchen partner is @OtwarteKlatki Association, an organisation whose mission is to prevent the suffering of farmed animals by bringing about systemic social change, documenting conditions of factory farming, promoting education to foster positive attitudes towards animals and encouraging a plant-based diet.
How it works:
1. If you cook something, you get in for free. If you don't have time to cook, entry costs a minimum of 15 PLN; the proceeds will be donated to Otwarte Klatki.
2. Eat as much as you like, but in moderation, so that others can try it too.
3. Bring a short description of your dish (preferably on a piece of paper) so that everyone knows what you prepared. Remember that the food must be 100% plant-based.
4. Bring cutlery and a plate. The less plastic the better!
5. We provide hot coffee, tea and a great vibe :)
